Communicate For A Change
A six-session, practice-based experience to build trust, navigate hard conversations, and strengthen every relationship—at home, at work, and in your community.
In Communicate for a Change, Relational Peace draws from Biblical wisdom, counseling and leadership practice, to bring four simple skills that consistently improve outcomes in homes, churches, and organizations.
Real change grows in relationships where people feel safe, respected, and understood. This course helps you communicate in ways that create those conditions. As you practice Genuineness, Respect, Empathy, and Warmth, you’ll see how listening and presence open the door to growth—in your family, your team, and yourself.
Genuineness: Show up with honesty and congruence so others can trust what you say and how you say it.
Respect: Honor the other person’s dignity and agency, especially when you disagree.
Empathy: Listen for meaning and emotion to reduce defensiveness and increase clarity.
Warmth: Create a safe tone that invites collaboration and problem-solving.
Decades of research confirm that relationship quality is the strongest predictor of lasting change.

Strong communication preserves what we value—family stability, dependable teams, and communities that work. In a fast-moving world, leaders who listen well and speak clearly create trust under pressure and set a tone others can follow. When conversations are grounded in competence and care, conflicts resolve faster, decisions improve, and culture becomes healthier over time.
